SMART QUESTIONS TO ASK DURING YOUR INTERVIEW
"So, do you have any questions for me?" Just about every interview these days ends with this question. Your answer should always be an emphatic, "Yes, I'm glad you asked!"
By the time you've reached the interview process, you've shown that your strengths are aligned with the company's needs. If you do not have smart questions prepared, you run the risk of the interviewer assuming you are not interested or haven't bothered to prepare.
Your opportunity to ask questions usually comes at the end of the interview. You should prepare at least two questions that demonstrate your interest in the position, your drive to excel in the role, and the fact that you've done some homework by researching the company, industry, and interviewer.
Keep in mind that the best questions to ask are focused and open-ended. Avoid yes or no questions as well as questions that are so broad that they are difficult to answer. You don't want to stump the interviewer when you're trying to make a good impression and develop rapport.

5. Where do you think the company is headed in the next 5 years?
6. Who do you consider your top competitor, and why?
7. What do you like best about working for this company?
8. What is the typical career path for someone in this role?
9. What are the next steps in the interview process?
